It seems that almost every day lately, I receive news
that another dog has been diagnosed with cancer. Just yesterday, it was my neighbor’s dog.
As a veterinarian, and as someone who loves these animals deeply, this is one of the hardest conversations to have with pet owners. Too often, cancer feels like something that comes out of nowhere—an unavoidable fate that overtakes the pets we love.
But I want you to hear this clearly:
Cancer is not fate.
It does not happen overnight, and it does not arrive without warning.
Cancer is often the result of a body that has been signaling immune dysfunction long before a diagnosis is ever made.
The number one warning sign I see—over and over again—is allergies.
Chronic itching, licking, ear infections, skin inflammation, digestive upset, recurring yeast…
these are not just “normal.”
They are early cries for help.
From a Chinese medicine perspective, this often reflects a pattern of liver blood deficiency combined with damp heat—a deficient and excess pattern happening at the same time.
When left
unaddressed, this imbalance deepens. Over time, I have seen this same pattern progress into much more serious disease states, including cancer.
That’s exactly why I created the Holistic Pet Reset and my Food Energetics course.
Not to overwhelm you… but to equip you.
So you’re not left guessing.
So you know what to look for.
So you actually have a
plan.
If your pet is already showing signs of immune dysfunction, this is something we can work to correct.
But it must be done consistently, intentionally, and daily.
As I always say:
In consistency lies the power.
You are not
powerless.
If you’re starting with the foundation—what you feed and how it supports your pet’s body—the Feeding Made Easy: Food Energetics Course will guide you step by step.
